OIL AND WATER DON’T MIX
Nano Concentrate vs. Conventional CBD Oil
Bioavailability
noun | bio·avail·abil·i·ty |
the extent to which a nutrient or medication can be used by the body
It’s no secret – oil and water don’t mix. Like most plants, hemp is packed with oils. This means that extracted CBD oil is not water-soluble in its natural form. CBD is a hydrophobic (water-fearing) substance. Subsequently, conventionally prepared CBD oil has extremely limited water-solubility and is not readily bioavailable. By using our proprietary Water Soluble Technology (WST), Golden CBD solves this problem. Our unique process results in a liquid CBD product that is significantly more bioavailable than conventional CBD oil.
Our CBD nanoemulsion is rapidly effective. Our dosages are more accurate because the formulation is pre-dissolved in water, resulting in up to 8x more bioavailability.
OUR PROCESS
Water Soluble Technology
The Cutting Edge of CBD
Golden CBD+ uses a proprietary Water Soluble Technology (WST) to produce a variety of exceptionally effective CBD formulas. Our proprietary process addresses the challenges faced by the nutraceutical, nutricosmetic, and functional foods industries. Our WST results in high bioavailability of functional ingredients, which ultimately means a better, more effective product.
Our specialized process employs a nano-sized hydrophilic (water-loving) membrane around the fat-soluble nutrient. In our case, the fat-soluble nutrient in our products is CBD. By encapsulating the water-insoluble nutrients, we can produce a formulation that is fast-acting, safe, and exceptionally bioavailable.
Key Advantages of our Water Soluble Technology (WST)
Higher Absorption Rates: Our WST encapsulates fat-based nutrients. This results in higher absorption rates through the walls of the enterocytes found in the small intestine.
Stability: Our WST improves the stability of the lipid-based active ingredients, such as cannabinoids, after conversion to a liquid or powder-based form. The result is a longer shelf-life, due to the elimination of potential phase separation.
Not pH Sensitive: Our WST allows our nano-liquids and powders to maintain efficacy in an acidic or alkaline environment.
Temperature: Our WST allows our nano-liquids and powders to withstand high temperatures, including heat from pasteurization.
Versatility: Our WST allows our nano-CBD to absorb in water or lipids, which means it is also functional when added to products other than liquids, such as cosmetics.
Concentration: Our WST allows a larger payload of functional fatty acids, thus eliminating the problem of dosage limitation for many functional ingredients.
The Basics of Cannabidiol (CBD)

1 - What is Cannabidiol (CBD) and how does it work?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the most prevalent cannabinoids found in hemp and cannabis. The National Center for Biotechnology Information defines cannabidiol (CBD) as: “A phytocannabinoid derived from Cannabis species, which is devoid of psychoactive activity, with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antineoplastic and chemopreventive activities”. [1]
CBD works in the human body by binding to and activating CB1 and CB2 receptors, which are part of your body’s endocannabinoid system. Learn more about CBD at ProjectCBD.org
2 - What is the Endocannabinoid System?
Change this text. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.The endocannabinoid system is an endogenous system of physiology involved in sustaining health and wellness. This system is active in everyone, regardless of external cannabinoid consumption. The human body is always producing cannabinoids, which help to regulate a variety of physiological and cognitive processes, including pain reduction, mood, fertility, appetite, and memory. [1] [2]
3 - What is CBD used for?
Cannabidiol has been shown to have analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and anxiety reducing properties. [1] In addition, research has shown that CBD can reduce the psychotic-like symptoms brought on by high doses of Δ(9)-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ(9)-THC) [2] [3] [4]. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, CBD has also been shown to have anti-tumor and neuroprotective properties. [5] In an article published in July of 2018, Medical News Today writes that CBD has received positive attention for its ability to help people deal with pain, epilepsy, anxiety, and a myriad of other ailments. [6]
4 - Is all CBD the same?
Cannabidiol has been shown to have analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and anxiety reducing properties. 7 - What is the difference between full-spectrum and broad-spectrum?
A full-spectrum oil/finished product has various cannabinoids including CBD, CBDV, CBG, CBN, CBC, and THC (-0.3%). A true broad-spectrum oil/finished product will also have a cannabinoid-rich profile. However, broad-spectrum does not contain THC. When Fire Organix formulates a broad-spectrum nano-liquid, powder, or cream, we are using an input with 0.00% THC.
For customized full-spectrum formulations, we can control the level of THC up to the legal limit of 0.3%
