Bioavailability is basically the ability of a drug or other substance to be absorbed and used by the body. It is related to the degree to which a particular substance reaches the intended site of action. A compound administered orally or sublingually (under the tongue), for example, has to travel through various parts of the body before it reaches the bloodstream, different from medication administered intravenously.
It is important to know this because a substance will only have an effect if it can be absorbed by the body. Knowing the bioavailability of a product you have purchased is the key to understanding its effectiveness.
In order to be effective, CBD has to reach your endocannabinoid system. This means it first needs to be absorbed into your bloodstream.
And how effective are Golden CBD's products in relation to bioavailability?
Not all CBD is the same. At Golden CBD+, we always remind the consumer that our dosages are more accurate because the formulation is pre-dissolved in water, resulting in up to 8x more bioavailability.
Like most plants, hemp is packed with oils. This means that extracted CBD oil is not water-soluble in its natural form. CBD is a hydrophobic (water-fearing) substance. Subsequently, conventionally prepared CBD oil has extremely limited water-solubility and is not readily bioavailable. By using our proprietary Water Soluble Technology (WST), Golden CBD+ solves this problem. Our unique process results in a liquid CBD product that is significantly more bioavailable than conventional CBD oil. Our nanoemulsion is rapidly effective.
]]>1) Hemp is one of the world's oldest cultures
According to the CBD School, hemp may have been improved thanks to modern agriculture. In fact, the cultivation of the plant is very old. Archaeologists say it started around 10,000 to 12,000 years ago.
2) Queen Victoria, from England, used CBD in the 19th century
Want to know an interesting tidbit about the history of CBD? In the 19th century, the Queen of England used CBD-rich cannabis to alleviate menstrual cramps.
3) CBD is legal only if it is derived from hemp
CBD for marijuana or hemp with more than 0.3% THC is still illegal at the federal level. However, in states where medical and adult cannabis are allowed, it can be used and purchased legally. The laws in the USA vary from state to state.
4) There are different types of CBD oil
There are several types and formulas on the market, which normally fall into one of the three categories: 1) Full Spectrum, which contains the full spectrum of CBD; 2) Broad Spectrum, with a full spectrum of extracted cannabinoids and terpenes; and 3) Isolate, which is the purest form of CBD, having all other cannabis compounds removed.
5) CBD might help improve your brain function
A study published in the U.S. National Library of Medicine suggests that “…administration of CBD… reduced short-term brain damage and was associated with extracerebral benefits.”
6) CBD can help reduce your stress
In some research studies, CBD has shown to be a promising alternative to drugs used to deal with stress-related health problems. CBD is useful as a mood stabilizer and antidepressant.
7) Did you know that cannabidiol is just one of more than 100 ingredients in cannabis plants?
You certainly know that cannabidiol is one of the ingredients of cannabis, but this doesn't mean that CBD is always associated with cannabis as a recreational drug. Cannabidiol is just one of the 100+ ingredients in the plant.
8) Cannabidiol works naturally with the body
Cannabidiol works naturally with a mammal’s cannabinoid receptor sites, which make up the endocannabinoid system and are found primarily in the brain and central nervous system.
9) CBD can also be beneficial for your pet
Mammals, like dogs, cats and horses, have an endocannabinoid system, the bodily system with which cannabinoids interact. Pet owners are discovering the benefits of adding CBD oil to their pets’ diets. It has shown to promote pets’ cardiovascular function, support healthy joints, and promote neurological health and emotional behavior.
10) In addition to not being an addictive substance, CBD blocks the addictive effect of other drugs
In a 2013 study, scientists found that CBD can successfully block the addictive effects of highly addictive painkillers, such as morphine. In research, it was found that CBD is capable of reducing the pleasure of the drugs in question.
]]>There are some differences between standard oil and nano-sized CBD particles. Some studies suggest that only 18% of cannabidiol can be absorbed per dose. With nano sizing your CBD, many studies are showing up to or around 90% absorption.
Let’s break it down:
Nano Water Soluble CBD has: 75-90% absorption; 0.10/mg of CBD that is absorbed; effective sublingually (absorbed under tongue); effective after swallowed; the reason why nano sizing CBD particles is so essential is that CBD particles are very difficult to absorb by the body. Standard Oil CBD, on the other hand, has 10-20% absorption; 0.50/mg of CBD that is absorbed; effective sublingually (absorbed under tongue) and not effective after ingestion.
To provide a more familiar scale, one inch consists of 25.4 million nanometers. The thickness of a sheet of newspaper is 100,000 nanometers. If a single nanometer were the size of a marble, then one meter in comparison would be the size of the Earth.
Golden CBD products
Using the power of Nanotechnology we are able to make our Water Soluble CBD 10 to 15 times more bioavailable than conventional CBD hemp oil. This makes our products faster and more efficiently absorbed by the body.
Golden CBD Nanotech oil products contain a wide range of synergistic cannabinoids to promote the most complete absorption within the body. All of them are THC-free and non-GMO, manufactured in a GMP compliant facility guidelines and are third-party tested for potency.
]]>Throughout history, including the discovery of material made from hemp over 10,000 years ago, hemp was probably the first crop ever cultivated by mankind.
According to an article published on healthline.com, the term “hemp” is used to mean cannabis that contains 0.3 percent or less THC content by dry weight. It claims that this definition was first proposed in 1979 in a book called “The Species Problem in Cannabis: Science & Semantics". According to the book, “this number was used in the legal definition of hemp, as specified in the Agricultural Act of 2018 and other laws in the United States”.
Marjuana, on the other hand, is a term used to talk about property that can leave you "high". Legally, the word "marijuana" refers to cannabis that has more than 0.3 percent THC in dry weight. Remembering that the number may vary between the types of the plant.
CBD and CBG
Like cannabidiol (CBD), cannabigerol (CBG) is a cannabinoid. It is the main non-intoxicating component of cannabis and also the best known in the industry, being widely used in common strains of cannabis, making the isolation and use of cannabinoids easily translatable for product manufacturing operations. It is possible to say that CBG looks similar to CBD on the surface.
CBG is a less abundant cannabinoid but has also recently been observed in studies. The component can also, according to the researchers, reduce inflammation, fight pain and even slow the proliferation of some cancer cells.
CBG is the precursor for other cannabinoids. When heated, CBG-A, the acidic form of CBG, breaks down. It doesn’t only form CBG, though. It also forms CBD, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), and cannabichromene (CBC).
CBD has a relatively low affinity for cannabinoid receptors and interacts mostly with the endocannabinoid system on an indirect basis and, on the other hand, CBG is thought to interact directly with the brain’s CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptors.

Currently, research is being presented around the world showing the great potential of cannabis substances for medical use. Scientific evidence points out that patients with several diseases, such as multiple sclerosis, depression, Parkinson’s disease, anxiety disorder and even post-traumatic stress disorder could benefit from cannabinoids.
Research tests involving cannabidiol (CBD) extract in the treatment of neurological diseases attest that weight gain or a change in eating behaviors of those who use the substance, for example, is not compromised, which eliminates concerns of the scientific community that studies the subject. These studies also show that there is no damage to short-term memory and/or the level of learning.
According to researchers, it is necessary to think that an anxiolytic drug takes an average of one month to take effect and this leads to poor adherence to treatment. It can now be said that the cannabinoid system is a promising target for new therapeutic interventions in psychiatry. Thus, cannabinoids can have wide use in this area.
Researchers have also concluded that CBD is the cannabinoid most likely to be used as a therapeutic option in the treatment of psychiatric disorders and symptoms. Due to the absence of psychoactive and cognitive effects, safety, good tolerability, clinical trials with positive results and the broad spectrum of pharmacological actions, CBD has therefore become an excellent ally of medicine.
In any case, we recommend that you do not replace antidepressants or any other type of medication with CBD. If you have any medical prescriptions, continue using your medications until your doctor says otherwise. We also recommend that you see a doctor who is experienced in the use of CBD oil in order for him or her to recommend the right dosage for you.

The products sold at Golden CBD+ are legal in all U.S. states and can be used in foods and/or as nutritional supplements.
In addition to this, Golden CBD + is one of just one of a few companies that has all the products certified, such as: GMP (Good manufacturing products), USDA Organic, Non-GMO, NSF, and GF Gluten Free.
What is nano-emulsion and how does it work?
In order to overcome the immiscibility of cannabinoids in water so that they can be infused into edibles, beverages and creams, a proper method of emulsification is needed. Golden CBD+ uses nanoemulsions technology to reduce the droplet size of cannabinoids, which produces nanoparticles. The end result is a product that is 5-10 times more easily absorbed by the body.
